Italian sports cars in general, and Ferraris in particular have always been among top performers in the sports car world, so when I started creating car models, Ferraris became my favorite object of modeling. Non-Italian cars featured on the site are some of my favorite cars from other parts of the world. |

Well..... it looks like updates to this site are becoming an annual thing! It has been slightly over a year since the last update, and I know I promised to update more often, but...A car accident in December of 2007 and another one in February of 2008 put a stop to modeling. New job has not helped the matter. But my injuries slowly healed, and I was able to spend some time at the bench again. This update is quite a bit smaller than the previous one, but I hope you will enjoy it nevertheless.
First of all, I have finally finished my (almost 4 years in the making) Challenge Stradale project. I had most subassemblies completed for months (and years in some cases), but couldn't find the time and motivation to put them all together. I was going through my bench one day and realized that it was almost done, and just needed the engine built. So make sure you check this buildup out, it turned out really great. F40GTE project is next, and it is coming along - stay tuned for new progress pictures.
There are several new articles in the publications section - Some magazines should be still available at the newsstands, so please check with your favorite retailers. More buildups are coming up in the next few weeks. New CS wallpaper was added to the wallpapers section. There are couple of new small scale models that I've built since the last update in 1/43 scale models section. Sadly, there are no new tutorials or kit reviews in this update.
Finally, my Ferrari kits database was once again revised and updated with all new kits and aftermarket items that popped up like crazy when Hasegawa and Fujimi released their 250-series model kits. I hope I had included everything and as always, let me know if I'm missing anything. Keep on modeling! Alex |
